bira will host its National Conference and Gala Awards - Talking Independent Retail on 24th April 2012. You can now complete the booking form to secure your place at his fantastic event. Under its new format, it will combine with the bira direct Suppliers Away Day to deliver a new programme of networking and information sharing for retailers and suppliers alike. 

The day will begin with a short AGM followed by a networking lunch, then bira will host its national conference featuring the annual retail and supplier addresses, progressive business speakers and an interactive networking session.

The resplendent Birmingham Town Hall will host the evening's gala dinner, which will incorporate the bira direct Supplier Awards, the UK Young Retailer of the Year Awards for each division of bira – BHF, CHA, HDRA, PPRA, BAGMA and FAB - and two social awards for a Charitable Champion and a Local Hero, which will celebrate the invaluable social and charitable contributions made by independent retailers. 

The British Independent Retailers Association is in a unique position to facilitate networking between retailers and suppliers and this new "one day, one night" format is designed to fit in with the time restraints and budgets that all retail businesses are facing in these pressured times.

For the AGM, lunch, conference, networking session and gala dinner, it is £125 (exc. VAT) per person.  bira expect it to be a sell out, so please book today to avoid disappointment.
