Colin Rodway - sadly missed

Colin Rodway, proprietor of Rodways in Ledbury passed away after a long illness, just after Christmas.

Colin was National President back 2006-7 as well as a past chairman and active member of his local BHF branch. He was also a director of bira direct and of the trustee company.

A man of great humour and enthusiasm, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral will take place at 11.00 a.m. on 17 January at:

Colin was suffering from a rare blood disorder called amyloidosis and his family would like any donations that people feel minded to give to be sent to:

    I first met Colin in the early 1970's as a customer at his hardware shop in Malvern Link. I was struck then by his direct eye-contact manner of approach - with, of course, a huge smile. I later became a member of Malvern 'Table' and found him at the heart of it all. Such a lovely bloke who I remember well as kindly, practical and sincere friend. God rest his soul and give comfort to his family and friends.
