Riot impact snapshot survey launched to aid police
bira has been working closely with the British Retail Consortium in connection with last week's widespread disruption and rioting.
Going forward it is essential that we provide further concrete support to the police and assistance in securing prosecutions against those involved with the criminality.
The BRC has launched the snapshot survey to collate statistical information from retailers which will be of use to protect force impact statements. These will be used in court cases to support prosecutions. The data provided will be anonymised. Contribution from the members affected would help to maximise our lobbying at this vital time.
If you are an affected bira retailer please take a few minutes to complete this short survey to inform government and aid police:
http://www.brc.org.uk/impactofdisruptionsurvey
You will be directed away from bira to the BRC website.
Please ignore the deadline on the link as it has been extended to bira members until midday on Thursday 18th August.
