On 28th to 31st May 2012, bira is going to the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey for its 2012 Study Tour Mini Break.  

With a varied programme that will incorporate industry and retail interests as well as enjoying the vast history and culture of the Channel Islands, the itinerary includes a conference with presentations from some of the country's top retail experts and a number of leisure activities including a tour of La Mare winery where guests are asked to blend their own wine - all in the name of gentle competition! 

As well as a great chance to meet and get to know fellow independents, the Mini Break will include exclusive study tours and let you get some behind-the scenes insights into independent retailing with some of the country’s top retailers as they share some of the secrets of their success. There are three study tours of Jersey’s best known retail outlets arranged including Voisins Department Store, one of Jersey’s biggest and most established department stores. 

Staying at the wonderful 4-star Hotel de France, this is a great chance to lose yourself in this spectacular island, meet, chat with and share ideas with other bira members and have an enjoyable 3 day mini break. You can, of course, stay longer and discover Jersey for yourself.
