bira has been asked to extend the invitation to its members. Places will be filled on a first come first served basis on responses to Tom Poynton at BIS. Members should contact Rebecca Abbott of bira, emailing: rebecca.abbott@bira.co.uk

A high level of importance is being attached to responses to the Red tape challenge website so members should not be shy in describing their experiences as this will really assist in driving change. To do that, go here http://www.redtapechallenge.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/comment-on-regulatory-enforcement/

Alan Hawkins, CEO of bira commented: "We have fought long and hard to get government to listen to small business on the burdens imposed by regulation and the burdens imposed by the enforcement of regulation. They are listening. Now we have the opportunity to get that red tape cut. I strongly encourage members to attend these events."
