Effective fire safety depends on having the right fire fighting equipment kept in the right place and having the knowledge to use it correctly. It is essential to recognise the different types of fire, as the correct treatment for one can prove disastrously wrong for another.
We chose Chubb Fire not only because they are the UK's largest manufacturer of fire extinguishers, but also because they have been leading the way in fire safety for more than 100 years and have an acknowledged reputation for quality. They also offer a nationwide service from which all bssa members can benefit.
Chubb can provide a complete range of portable extinguishers - including water, foam, dry powder and CO2, as well as hose reels, fire blankets and other useful equipment.
As well as being BSI approved Chubb is BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) registered for the contract maintenance of extinguishers. Service representatives are qualified to maintain all makes of fire extinguishers and will advise on any new equipment needed and the correct positioning of that equipment.
